The Alien In Our Midst will open at Gaffa on May 17, a photographic series that explores land and belonging. Using images of outback and rural Australia, recently arrived immigrant youth, ghosts of Afghan pioneers, texts relating to early settlement, and vintage book pages it displays the often conflicting relationships of people to place.
