Event:Verge Festival 2011

Do you ever wake up the morning after a gig wondering if your money was well spent? Major Raiser are a non-profit organisation that hosts live music and creative arts events for charities. They are a caring bunch who combine great live music with informative discussions on issues affecting today’s youth, raising money and awareness through events and ticket sales.

For their next act of kindhearted goodness, Major Raiser have teamed up with Sydney University to present Verge Festival 2011. The event will explore youth mental illness in a positive light and will feature a soundtrack provided by bands including Rapids, Only the Sea Slugs, Polar Knights, Boats of Berlin, Louis London and Major Raiser DJs.

So, head along and enjoy some live music while contributing to a worthy cause. It’s a win/win situation.
