* UPDATE 18/12 *
In a Christmas miracle, a limited number of tickets will be released to the sold-out Soundwave events in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Tickets go on sale this Friday 21 December at 10am local time.
-------------------------------------------
The Soundwave festival lineup is a harsh mistress. You put in the legwork trolling from website to website, stalking twitter accounts and Facebook pages, tuning in from one radio station to the other, but at the end of the day the prude just won’t put out. Finally, we can have a little closure on what has been an uncertain and confusing couple of months with some official details.

So that’s it, the wait is over, we hope it was everything you thought it would be (don’t worry, the first time is always a little strange). Now it’s time to start saving those pennies as tickets go on sale August 23 at 9am, and due to the carbon tax there has been a 5-7% rise in concert/festival prices. But you can’t put a price on love, can you?
