Grimes Locks In East Coast Tour
Already scheduled in to hit Meredith later this year, it’s just been announced that Canadian songstress Grimes will play a string of sideshows in December, heading along the country’s east coast.
The one-woman force will headline Melbourne’s Corner Hotel as well as Brisbane’s Zoo and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory, in an Australian debut that comes not a moment too soon. Grimes is jetting out to promote her 2012 record,
Visions, which she says was “conceived in a period of self-imposed cloistering during which time [she] did not see daylight.”
If
Visions is what she can create in small dark spaces we might ask that Grimes never leaves her room like some kind of music creating urchin… But then we would never get to see her perform. Tough choice.
