FBi Wants to Take You to Iceland

FBi Wants to Take You to Iceland

Sydney radio station FBi is bringing back their Northern Lights competition for another year, and the prize on offer is definitely something to get excited about.

The comp celebrates the best in undiscovered electronic music, with organisers looking for the two best solo electro artists in New South Wales.  Winners will score a trip to Iceland to perform in the beautiful city of Reykjavik (for real), be set up with international artists and collaborate with a host of Icelandic musicians.

Entering is easy – you just need to supply two original tracks and answer a quick questionnaire.  Entries close on September 28, and the six finalists will be announced on October 2.

Since its inception nine years ago, FBi have made it their mission to introduce local artists to wider audiences, and with names like Gotye, Angus & Julia Stone, The Presets and Tame Impala on their books, it seems like a case of mission accomplished.

Head to fbiradio.com/northernlights for all the details.
