Band Lets Slip Splendour Involvement

With less than 24 hours until the full Splendour in the Grass lineup is to be announced, another band has let slip news of their involvement prematurely.

Speaking with local blog acid stag, Los Angeles-based indie duo Electric Guest unknowingly revealed that they’d be making the trek Down Under in July as part of the Byron Bay music festival.

"We're going to be there in July," Electric Guest’s Matthew Compton admitted, and when quizzed on whether the tour was part of Splendour, he replied: "Yeah, it is. How did you know? [We've] never been to Australia before so I’m super excited”.

Electric Guest's latest album Mondo is due for release on April 24. Check in early tomorrow for the full Splendour lineup announcement.
