Brisbane garage-pop marvels Millions were barely six months old when they were hand-picked by triple j Unearthed to open last year's Splendour in the Grass, and their shared love of swaggering rock was put to good use in early singles ‘Those Girls’ and 'Guru'. After healthy attention from triple j and shows supporting The Grates, Bleeding Knees Club and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Millions have scored a record deal and to celebrate launched a new EP called Nine Lives, Six Degrees at Transit Bar on Saturday. Party starters Nite Society also booked in Step-Panther, and DJs Less Than Three, Princi, Architect DJs and Sammy Soundslike.
