The Melbourne Underground Film Festival
wants you to enter your most outlandish, taboo, boundary-mocking films for their 13th instalment, which will be held in late August/early September this year.
MUFF is the bleeding-edge premiere showcase for independent filmmaking in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere. The festival is a prominent critic of the Australian Film Industry, and works to support the iconoclastic and radical elements of the Australian and international underground film and video practice.
So fire up iMove HD, recruit your talent and upload all the found-footage you can muster, because the deadline for submissions is Friday 22 June. You have a matter of days to rummage through your archives for a piece of peak-brilliance, or to put together and submit your game-changing contribution to the indie film scene.
All film forms are encouraged, from kiddies' animation to snuff-film documentary. Remember people, don’t be sending the only copy of your piece - what goes to MUFF doesn’t come back, unless it's accompanied by a stamped return-envelope. Entries are to be in DVD format only, features and shorts are welcome.
