David Attenborough's Live Australian Tour
*** Sir David Attenborough has announced a 2013 visit to Australia, head here for details. ***
We’ve all grown up with the man and we still watch his documentaries like wide-eyed children. No one else has been able to teach us about the world quite like him, and perhaps no one will ever be able to. We are of course speaking of Sir David Attenborough, who will be making his way Down Under for a series of live events in August.
The natural history filmmaker has accepted an invitation to appear in both Sydney and Melbourne to present Sir David Attenborough – A Life on Earth. The special events will see the man himself talk about his life as a naturalist and broadcaster, the evolution of filming techniques (he’s been in the TV biz for close to six decades so he’s seen it all happen), untold stories and his unique passion for bringing the world closer to nature.
His Life on Earth series alone received approximately 500 million viewers worldwide, so you can imagine how quickly these tickets will disappear. Get in quickly to grab yourself a pass when they go on sale Monday 26 March through Ticketmaster.
To help you suspend your suspense, watch this beautiful (and slightly awkward) moment with a sloth.
