It looks as though the ever-silly
Flight of The Conchords will be back sooner rather than later... and it's about time. Bret McKenzie let slip in
an interview with Billboard.com that he and Jemaine Clement will be touring Australia and New Zealand in the very near future, although he didn't provide any specific dates. We would blame Murray for the admin omission, but he earns a reprieve as he's been flat out since the HBO show ended. That's only fair.
McKenzie, also known as the famed Rhymenocerous, said that being on tour means that the two of them will most likely be working on new music (being in the same place help with that), without the tyranny of the Skype delay.
It's no wonder that they've had no time to write anything new, what with McKenzie filming for
The Hobbit, and Clement filming for the third
Men In Black. Maybe now that they're successful film-men who star as aliens and have lunch with Meryl Streep, they won't be bothered by Inner City Pressure(s), or take crap from any Mutha'uckas. We sincerely hope that's not the case. You can take the boys out of New Zealand, but we doubt that you can take the New Zealand out of the boys.
