Audition for Puppetry of the Penis
In news that is bound to get someone... well... excited, MICF guests Puppetry of the Penis have just announced that they will be holding auditions in Brisbane to uncover - quite literally - the show's next stars.
The try-outs will be held at The Twelfth Night Theatre on March 29, where the risqué comedy show's creator Simon Morley will hand pick several new 'puppeteers' - supposedly they will be "paid handsomely in return for leaving [their] pants and shame at the door."
Those auditioning will be tested not only on their aptitude for contorting their trouser snake, but also their charm and wit, ensuring that they can keep an audience entranced and entertained for an hour (AKA no creepers).
Attendees can expect to be taken through a quickie masterclass in the art of genital origami by the original Penis Puppeteer himself, Simon Morley, before demonstrating the new tricks in front of a panel of judges. Prepare yourself for the Atomic Mushroom, the Pelican, the Weed Snipper, the Loch Ness Monster, and the even intriguing Flying Squirrel.
To audition be at The Twelfth Night Theatre on March 29 at 6pm. To reserve a place email nina@yokecommunications.com.au.
