Fashion Palette is an unmissable two-day fashion event.
Rolling into its fourth year (and its first on an international platform, with a launch planned for New York), the event was born out of a desire to show off and nurture talented Australian designers. Offering emerging and established labels the kind of opportunities that often take years to come by, the schedule will include runway shows, as well as a chance to connect with industry professionals, media and buyers.
With the theme 'Where Spring Meets Fashion', this year's extravaganza celebrates the role the seasons play in fashion design - and judging by the varying weather around Australia this summer, this task should not be taken lightly. Fashion lovers will experience a fusion of runways, from the more classic Australian style (Havianas and flannels not included) to cutting-edge emerging designers whose bold pieces are more likely to break the mould.
Held at Carriageworks, Fashion Palette offers a peek into a world that is often seen as super glamorous and difficult to break into. With fashion figures sharing not only their collections, but their personal career journeys, keys to success, creative processes and techniques, it's the perfect opportunity for the fashion community to soak up every ounce of knowledge and prowess.
