Dark Knight Trilogy Exhibition at The Galeries
If, like us, you’re a little too excited about the whole Batman thing (you’ve watched the Dark Knight Rises trailer 80 times on Youtube, feel secretly powerful when you wear black body armour and try to imitate Michael Caine’s inimitable accent mid-conversation) then you’ll welcome this opportunity to get your fangirl/fanboy on.
Throughout July The Galeries will celebrate the final instalment of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy with an exhibition of never-before-seen images from all three films– including the upcoming
Dark Knight Rises, in cinemas July 19.
The exhibition will see photos, artwork and behind-the-scenes shots compiled into one epic Batman bonanza. 300 custom-made 3D bats will be scattered beneath the Galeries’ glass ceilings in a striking photographic display, and the same model Avendator Lamorghini that Bruce Wayne drives in the film will appear in the centre for the first two weeks of July only.
And there are even more Gotham-themed goodies: fans can win a double pass to the Sydney premiere of the film, arriving in a chauffeur-driven Aventador Lamborghini, thankyouverymuch. At very least, you could walk away with a double pass to the flick and a hefty dose of Christian Bale. Count us in.
