ARTillery have recruited artists from Perth, Melbourne and Canberra to tackle the issues surrounding arms trade through film, visual art, spoken word, performance, dance and music. Their insights help us ponder why the world needs an Arms Trade Treaty, just prior to the start of world-first negotiations at the UN. Each artist responded creatively to the work of another artist in their city, resulting in an artistic chain reaction. Participating artists included Sarah Kaur, Reuben Ingall and Will Small. You can find out more about ARTillery by heading to their website artilleryfestival.com.
